At Ruppert Contracting, we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality work at competitive prices. But don't just take our word for it here are some examples and references from our clients.

We are often called to help rescue projects that are abandoned or not completed correctly. Recently we were called in to complete an unfinished exterior stucco project. The original contractor made the client buy scaffolding before starting the job but left the work well before completion. We had to remove the previously incorrectly installed material, unsafe scaffolding before we could properly complete this for the client.  Unfortunately they were never able to recover any of his payments from the contractor who abandoned this project.

In an another instance we were called in to repair a basement renovation gone wrong. New flooring was buckling up, electrical issues and many small unfinished items remained. Contractor never came back. Unfortunately we had to open up the walls to correct the wiring as well as complete the duct work (some parts were missing and not all connected inside the walls). Flooring too had to be replaced as the wrong type was installed. Fortunately the client did not fully pay the original contractor, but still ended up paying about 30% more than they needed to get the project done right.

Finally we were called to address an unfinished and well over budget Office renovation.  A low priced contractor was given the job. Well over double the original time schedule for completion and numerous cost overruns, and still the project was far from ready (doors installed upside down, cracked windows, holes in wall from re-wiring attempts, HVAC non-functional). Client was so happy with our work that we delivered on time and budget to them that we secured their full house renovation the following year.

And a word from our clients:

Zoltan gave me an impression of dedication when I first met him. As I'm writing this note, I'm admiring the brightness of the new basement entrance to my backyard. Thanks to your involvement, Zoltan, and the people you have diligently chosen to do the job, I couldn't be happier. I appreciate the time you took to listen to what I wanted and added your own expertise and pulled together the finished product. The end result is just what I'd hoped it would be.

Project:  Below grade entrance with underpinning, reinforced concrete retaining walls in ICF, stucco finish, aluminum railing.

"Zoltan proved to be the right choice since he turned out to be a detail oriented, reliable contractor. He was always available by phone or internet and did exactly he told us he would do. He maintained his time lines and despite the difficulties of the site he maintained a clean condition during and after the construction. We are very pleased with the appearance of our home front now and proudly boast of it to our friends."

Project: Curb appeal reconstruction

"Zoltan and his company designed and built us a very well functioning and good-looking basement entrance. Since our clients are using it and it is in front of our newly built home the structure had to blend in with the rest of the nicely appointed house front. We were amazed by the amount of initial structural work they put into the project, even though Zoltan explained to us how important the proper foundation was. It was good to see that even the building inspector was satisfied whenever he inspected the different building stages."

Project: Below grade entrance for home based professional business with underpinning, reinforced concrete retaining walls in ICF, stucco finish, aluminum railing.

"As a project manager on commercial projects I have always enjoyed working with Zoltan and his team. They executed several major store renovations for our clients such as Fairweather, International Clothier, Penningtons, Labels, Signor Angelo and assisted in numerous other construction/renovation works in Zellers and Home Depot stores. Zoltan seems to be a man of his words and even though our projects are scattered nationwide him and his people proved to be evenly productive anywhere."

Project:  Commercial store renovations in Toronto, Sudburry, Thunder Bay, Regina, Calgary, etc.

"We approached Zoltan after he completed a project for one of our family member and asked him to design and build out our basement. Since we trusted him already we gave him freedom over the details and waited excitedly for the result. Fortunately we did not get disappointed and the basement turned out to be a great space to move in. Utilizing his designer capabilities he surprised us with a few unique details and created a space in the basement that now rivals with the upper levels' custom finishes."

Project: Full basement finish with an en-suite, a second bathroom, a library room, a kitchen, a media and a recreational room. Frame-less glass shower in en-suite bathroom with unique floated tub deck, custom pedestal sink and glass block inserts.

Clients say

"Zoltan, I'd like to thank you for replacing our garage floor. You were one of seven contractors to quote and although your price was not the lowest, I felt confident that you had the skills and experience to complete the job. You and your crew [did the job] while leaving the work site neat and safe from start to finish. Your quotation included time schedules to which you adhered. I thank you for overseeing and working along side your crew. We're completely satisfied with our new concrete floor ...
